Antelope Valley Adult Education partners with Desert Haven Enterprises located at 43437 Copeland Circle, Lancaster CA 93535. Desert Haven is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to developing, enhancing and promoting the capabilities of persons with developmental disabilities.

programs offered:

• Community Integration Services: Assists participants to gain greater self-determination and independence by maximizing capabilities with regard to daily living skills, self-advocacy, interpersonal and social skills, safety, and accessing and utilizing community resources.

• Employment Skills Training Services: Assists participants to develop marketable job skills and gain work stability and experience through specialized training at community-based work sites.

• Community-Based Employment Services: Assists participants to seek, obtain, and maintain fully-integrated, competitively paid employment within the job of their choosing.
