  • Make repairs and perform scheduled updates.
  • Inspect cable lines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Field questions from employees about software installation and hardware upgrades.

Network Technician 1

Students will be introduced to networking fundamentals, such as WAN technologies, basic wireless concepts, and network hardware. Learn to design and build small office networks, using an understanding of network hardware, IP addressing, and software.

Network Technician 2

Introduction to Cisco switch and router configuration, network address translation, IPv6, and network security. Prepare for the Cisco Certified Entry-Level Networking Certification (CCENT), the first step towards the Cisco Certified Networking Associate Certification (Network Tech I or work experience required).
